I'm currently at the Web Visions 2006 in Portland and just sat through a fascinating presentation by Bill Scott of Yahoo and James Reffell of eBay. Both guys are User Interface designers and they were sharing there experiences with design patterns in their organizations. Bill is the person behind the Yahoo Pattern Library that is now available for all to use. He also blogs at http://yuiblog.com/.
He has inspired me to try and create in internal Pattern Library for my work just as a reference to go back and reuse our own work.
